Alright, I am at my second checkpoint as of today. It is the Alpine fault which is located in New Zealand. this is a transform boundary, this is two plats sliding side of each other. It is between the Pacific and the Indo-Australian Plate. I am here with my friend Jason, he is a scientist in New Zealand. This is located at around 43 degrees S ans 170 degrees E. My friend informed me that there has been some earth quakes around that area, raging from 7.1 to 7.8. This is what usually happens at a transform boundary. Next in my travel plan is the Himalayas. I will be checking in then.
